Natural Collection Review!

Hi guys! As i have promised this for a long time, here is my natural collection review. This is a review of all the products I've tried and my general thoughts of the range.
The first ever beauty product i bought was from natural collection. It was a two tone silver and blue eyeshadow and i still have it! Recently i purchased the tinted moisturised, liquid concealer, a lip gloss, a brown eye pencil and a dark grey eyeshadow. The tinted moisturiser is nice for days when you don't need much makeup, it is a very light coverage but easy enough to work into the skin. However i was not happy with the liquid concealer. It comes out very orange on the skin and can be very hard to blend. Wasn't impressed with that. But on the other hand i loved the lip gloss. I got a nude glittery colour called Barley Sugar and it smells and looks gorgeous! The dark brown eye liner pencil is good. I use it smudged into the lash line and it gives a lovely effect. However it isn't very long lasting. The eyeshadow is very nice and blends well but is very powdery.
The brand is very cheap and if your quite young and just looking for the basics on a small budget its great. However for anyone over the age of 11 i wouldn't recommend it for anything except lip glosses, they are lovely!

Hope this was helpful, lots of love.

Soap & Glory Solar Powder Bronzer Review!

Hi everyone,
So the other day my um went out and got me the Soap & Glory Solar Powder bronzer, and lets just say, IM OBSESSED!!
I wear this every day now and its just such a perfect, good quality product, I'm hooked. The pallet has two halves, one side is a dark bronze and one a lighter more natural one. I wear them swirled together on a big angled contour brush, and it gives me a lovely natural warmth and contour. I dust it under my cheekbones, across the edges of my forehead and along my jaw line, and i find this gives me just enough definition for day to day use. I would highly recommend this product as for a high street bronzer i was very very impressed, and the compact has a mirror, bonus!

Tune in on Sunday for a Catwalk report from LFW, all my favourite shows for ss15!

Hi guys, sorry for missing my last post! But the thing is life is unbelievably busy for me right now. Every day except 2 I'm doing sport and I'm knackered to be honest with you. Back To School Essentials/What's In My School Bag!

Hi guys, so this week i went back to school, and i just thought id share with you some of my back to school essentials!
First of all at the start of each year i like to buy myself a bag. This year i bought myself a blue/green leather rucksack from accessorise and i love it. It's completely different to anything i would usually have and i love the colour and practicality. Rucksacks are just the easiest things to throw on because they fit a load in and are so easy to carry when they get really heavy. Then I will get myself a knew pencil case, this year however my mum gave me a pale blue and white spotty one that she wasn't using, and i really like it! Then of course i have to fill my pencil case. I like to get a new lot of stuff at the start of each year so that it lasts me all year and i won't run out of everything. I buy lots of black or blue pens, pencils, coloured pens, a rubber, ruler, pencil sharpener and a glue stick. Then i have to have a calculator and geometry set. Our school provide us with a planner on the first day back to organise all our homework and clubs etc, this is essential for me. Obviously i the have all my books for the day but i don't get them until i go back as we get knew books. I always like to carry some hair ties for PE, a perfume and/or body spray, a lip balm and some tissues. These always come in handy. I also have to have an inhaler as i have athsma. I also always have arcading book with me for english. At the moment i am reading Divergent by Veronica Roth. Its A M A Z I N G. I'm really trying to get back into reading. As I'm doing art for one of my GCSE's i also have a pack of colouring pencils. Lastly i like to carry a hand sanitizer, as school can be a dirty place!

Hope you all have a good year of school, it's not as bad as you think! Stay positive and succeed!!

Summer Favourites 2014!

Hi everyone, so summer has now officially ended, as i am now back at school. Here comes autumn! But before we push on into a/w i think its time to reminisce over this fab time of year, by sharing with you all the things i have been loving this summer! I'll go through it all in different sections to make it easier for you to see!

Skincare.
First up has to be the product that just wakes up my skin every morning, and this is the Clean & Clear Morning Energy skin brightening daily facial scrub. This has really helped my skin and has a lovely fresh lemony scent.
The other thing i was loving when i went to Kos was the Garnier Ambre Solaire clear protect + spf 30 suncream. This comes out as a transparent spray and is so so easy to apply. It's also really water resistant so you can go in the water and still be protected by a high spf.
When it comes to moisturising my body i have also fallen in love with the White Musk Body Lotion from the Body Shop, it sinks in really well and has a lovely fragrance to it. I put it on at night and wake up with really soft skin.

Haircare.
Just one favourite this month and its the Matt & Messy shine free salt spray by L'oreal Paris. This is lovely to add texture to your hair after showering to give a tousled effect.

Nails.
About 6 weeks ago i had some gel nails done at a near by salon, and they were gorgeous!! They lasted for about 4 weeks until i had to remove them as my nails had grown so much it looked ridiculous! They didn't chip at all and the girl that did them helped me choose some gorgeous colours textures and patterns
However when i did take them off my nails were not at strong as they had been as the acetone i used to remove them damaged my nails considerably. Therefore i have been using the Models Own 4 way nail stick all the time to try and keep my nails looking respectable. The four sides are file, buff, smooth and shine and they really do work!

Makeup.
I haven't bought that much new makeup this summer but one thing i did buy was the natural collection Lash care Mascara in clear. I use this to help keep my eyelashes healthy when I'm not wearing mascara some days, and as a brow gel to keep my brows in place. Lovely formula, applicator and product! And also very cheap!!
The other thing i have been loving this summer is the blusher in Antique by Sleek. I love Sleek makeup and although i bought this quite a long time ago i have absolutely fallen back in love with it. I wear it dusted lightly along my cheekbone as the beautiful shimmer and colour of it really highlight and define. I will definitely be purchasing some different shades as i love it and wear it practically every day!
Another thing, that isn't really makeup, or skin care, is the cocoa butter vaseline. I use this every day. I apply it to my eyelids and lashes over night to nourish and restore my lashes and i also use it on my lips as the most amazing, nourishing, softening lip balm ever. It feels amazing on the lips and i wake up with silky smooth lips. I just bought a new one as i just ran put of my tub.

Fashion.
When the weathers warm and i want to put some shorts on my go-to pair are my hollister distressed denim short shorts. Now these are very short, but the fit is amazing and it is just the perfect colour with the perfect amount of distressing. I'm obsessed.
I've also been wearing my vintage flannel i got in margate all the time too, staple piece.
I also got the most gorgeous deep blue/green leather rucksack for school from Accesorize, its gorgeousss!

People.
This summer when i'm having a lazy day or I'm a bit bored in the evening, i will always go to youtube. And this summer there have been 4 you tubers that I've been obsessed with! These are Zoe Sugg (Zoella) Lily Pebbles (lilypebbles) Anna (viviannadoesmakeup) and Aspyn Ovard (aspynovard). These you tubers have bought me valuable life lessons, introduced me to amazing new products, showed me amazing places and made me giggle. I'm obsessed with watching their blogs and i love every single one of their videos. Seriously, go check the out!

Music.
Now i don't particularly like all the chart music all the time, i just find it gets a bit boring to be listening to the same pop songs as everyone else. Don't get me wrong i still download them and listen to them sometimes, but i prefer indie/rock/alternative music. Here are the bands/people I've been loving; Imagine Dragons, Arctic Monkeys, The Script, Coldplay, Foster The people, Onerepublic, La Roux, The Fray, Passion Pit, Linkin Park and Kasabian to name a few… The list could go on for hours!!

Activity.
I'm completely obsessed with fashion, and Ive read every single fashion magazine you can think of! I also love to read fashion books and spend my evening studying them and drawn. yep. Thats me.

I hope you enjoyed this favourites post!

How to get rid of spots... fast!

Hi guys, so yes, recently my skin has not been at its best. I've been really struggling to keep my skin clear and spot free, and its working, my skin is definitely improving!! I thought today i would share with you some of the things i do to help my skin become spot-free fast!

1- Get into a steady morning and night skin routine. Whatever you do make sure you have a steady routine where you clean your face every morning and night. You should exfoliate and moisturise (at least) every morning, and exfoliate, cleanse, moisturise and apply some sort of spot cream over spots at night. If you stick to a tight routine you will see instant improvements!

2- Apply a face mask once a week. Whatever type of face mask you like, try to apply one once a week, or even once a fortnight. This will help go the extra mile to keep your skin clean, moisturised and healthy.

3- Ice your problem areas. By problem areas i mean any areas where you have spots, redness or enlarged pores. By putting 4/5 ice cubes in a plastic sandwich bag and gently pressing it onto your problem areas, you can calm down redness and help spots to dry up and be on there way. I try to do this 2/3 times on relaxing days at home.

4- Add toothpaste to your spotty areas. Yes, toothpaste! Apply a thin layer of white toothpaste to your spots/ spotty areas and after half an hour wash it off with cool water and a flannel. This sounds stupid but can really help. Why pay for expensive spot creams when you have something in your bathroom that does the job or you!

These are just a few ideas of ways to get your skin clear! Hope this helps any of you struggling with annoying spots or acne. But you shouldn't worry too much about spots, everyone gets them and its natural! Love your body, face and everything about you!

Wild Thing

Hi guys, today i thought id do another trend report style post, exploring the fur's of this season.
If you real Vogue, Elle or any other big fashion magazine you will have probably noticed that fur is everywhere, in fact if you walked into a high street store such as Topshop, River Island or New Look you will have noticed the copious amounts of fur on display. From shaggy shearling to luxe Ponyskin, whatever you want, you will find it this season. Autumn fashion is one of my favourite seasons, still warm enough to wear dresses, but cool enough to shrug on the knits and jackets and layer up your outfit. If your going to invest in a jacket this autumn, make sure its fur. I have been rather tempted by the allure of the aviator shearling style. But the leopard print furs are back and bold! However when it comes to leopard, go for a thinner, more luxe looking style. If you study the designer catwalks like me you will have also noticed Gucci's huge blue shaggy jacket. This has been in every magazine under the sun and helped to bring this style into fashion.

However I'm sure most of you reading this don't have the thousands of pounds needed to buy this jacket, so here are some more purse friendly versions on the high street to give you some inspiration!

Graceous Girl Talk: Let's talk about YOU!

Hi everyone, so i had an idea that i thought would just be really nice to do every month or so as just a kind of help/advice series. I decided to call it Graceous Girl Talk, as i'll basically just be talking about things i think are really important for girls to know and talk about. As i say i'll be doing a new one of these roughly once a month on a different topic each time, these will be motivational/helpful to all you girls (i hope!)

So today i think its time to talk about you. Obviously i don't personally know you, but thank you for reading this post! I am an only child and i like to spend a lot of time by myself, and i have bought myself so many valuable lessons that i thank myself for. Whatever you want to do, you can do it. Do whatever you want and don't let other people stop you. You just have to always put yourself first, say to yourself, do i really like this? Is this what i want? Am i happy with this? And do what you feel is right. It's a lot braver to step away from the crowd rather than hiding in it. This summer i have done a lot of finding myself and who i really am and now i know exactly what i want from myself. Take the time to get to know yourself a little bit better, love yourself, care for yourself and be the best self you can. As once you know yourself you can be a whole lot more comfortable and confident. Don't be afraid to do what others are not. Don't be afraid to be unique! In my opinion originality is the key to success, so why be anyone but yourself! I read this quote a while ago, and it said that if you are your own best friend you are never alone. Which i think is so true and so important to remember. You are amazing exactly the way you are, do not let other people change you. Take other peoples advice on board but nobody knows you like yourself. Girls your all beautiful, and take a minute after reading this and just take a deep breath, remember all the amazing things you've done and don't regret a single thing, you may well have made mistakes in the past but thats okay, that makes you who you are now. Don't trust anyone more than you trust yourself. people come and go but your with yourself your entire life. You came together you leave together, you are you and only you and when you take a step back you'll see that there is beauty all around you if you look for it. Be brave, sensible, clever and original. You will find that life is an amazing thing, and you wouldn't want to be anyone but yourself.

I hope you liked this post, its bit different to what i usually do but there'll be a summer favourites post going up on Sunday.

Thank you to everyone reading this, i love you all.

On The Go: Quick, Cute Hairstyle.

Hellooo, so its time for the last instalment of the On The Go series, I hope you liked it! Let me know what you thought! Today's post is a cute really quick hairstyle which you can just go too when you don't know what to do with your hair!

So all you need for this hairstyle is a hairbrush, two clear elastics, some scissors and a piece of ribbon.

First of all you need to go ahead and take the front section of your hair and bring to the back of your hair and tie it with a clear elastic into a pony tail- just as you would with a half up half down hairstyle. Then split the ponytail into three sections and just do a simple braid all the way down until your about a inch from the end of the hair. Secure it with the other clear elastic. Then you take the scissors and cut the elastic at the top to give you a messier finnish. You could pull pieces out around your face to give it a more messy look. Finally, you just need to take your piece of ribbon and tie it onto the end of your plait to just make it a little bit prettier!

Quick, easy, cute hairstyle done!

On the Go: Quick, simple outfit idea.

Hey guys, today it's time for the second post in my On The Go series, and its a really quick and easy outfit idea that you can just throw on in a rush! This is probably more suited to s/s but you could definitely add layers to make it warmer!

So your going to need to start off with a massive t-shirt, long enough to wear as a dress. You can buy actual T-shirt dresses but i like the look of oversized vintage/retro tshirts.
So go ahead and through this on, and they just grab a basic mid wash denim jacket and stick this on if its cold-ish. If not you could tie it around your waist.
If you have a felt floppy hat add this to make your outfit a bit more polished.
For shoes the easiest thing is trainers, so converse, nike's or even basic pumps do the job perfectly.
If its a little colder outside which in england it often is, try adding leggings/tights and ankle boots. You could also add a hoody under-neath your jacket.

I hope this was useful, as everyone has those days when you just have nothing to wear!!

Thank you for your support as always,

On The Go: Brow Definition

Hi guys, so I've decided to do a little series of posts called the 'On The Go' series, this will include 3 posts on quick, easy makeup hair and fashion cheats for when you need to fly out the door! Todays post is all about brows, and how to shape, define and fill in brows quickly and easily!

Step 1- Take a matte eyeshadow the same colour or slightly darker than your natural eye brows and roughly fill in the colour all over, don't worry about making it too perfect, and don't extend them yet, just get the basic filling in done. This instantly makes your brows stand out more.

Step 2- To neaten them up a little take a brow comb and comb through all of your brows, gently teasing and shaping the hairs into the desired shape. Take care on this step to get them even and sleek. This also removes any excess powder clogging your brows.

Step 3- This step is optional. If you feel you need to extend your eyebrow shape, take a small angled brush with your eyeshadow again and carefully draw in your extra brow shape. This may be for when you have a little more time as if you do it too quickly you can completely mess up the shape!

Step 4- The last step is to take a clear mascara and just brush through your brows with the mascara to set and hold you brows all day long. the clear mascara acts as a gel and is so easy to apply. You an get clear mascara in a lot of stores, but my personal favourite is by the Natural Collection, its actually a clear mascara for conditioning lashes, which helps to keep your brows healthy too, and bonus its only £1.99, bargain!

So thats it for todays post,  I do this nearly every day to my eyebrows and it just looks so effortless and natural which I really like! There will be a Natural Collection brand review post coming soon so look out for that!

Thank you to everyone who has messaged me about my blog, it really means so much to me to get those lovely messages from people so thank you all my lovelies! A lot of people have been asking whether i am actually going to start my youtube now and at the moment i will not be, I'm really sorry if you wanted to see it but I've got lots of ideas and i just want to save them all for when i'm ready and will have the time to upload regularly and make the best videos i can. When i do decide to do it i want to be prepared and ready and at the moment i'm just enjoying focussing on my blog and making it as good as i can. I will also be redesigning my blog this week so keep checking out to see the new design!

New season shopping: Autumn trends, what to buy and how to work it!

Hey guys, sorry i didn't post on sunday, i was at the london dungeons all day and shopping at harrods :))) (you know how i loorrveee london <3) So today i thought id write about the new season, what to buy and how to wear it!

The Trends.
1970's- bright colours, tight trousers, turtle necks, culottes, flares.
1960's- Twiggy, brights, mini skirts, a-line dresses, shift dresses, adrogyny, Brigette Bardot.
Tailoring- little embellishment, grey, navy, monochrome, intimacy, sophistication, refined.
Texture Riot- feathers, fur, sheepskin, ponyskin, leather, faux, colour, textures, ott, shaggy, aviator.
Femininity- chiffon, knee length, chic coats, slouchy sweaters, blouses, seduction, elegance, corset lacing, roll necks.
Geometry- painterly, bold brushstrokes, abstract graffiti, motifs, strong, sharp, optic, angular, graphic, tough, bold colour, vibrant, brown.
New Classics- mid length skirt, tweed jacket, argyle, cable knit, duffel coat, brogue, oxfords, british sensibility, heritage fabrics.

What To Buy.
So above you'll find my favourite trends for the autumn/winter 14 season. There are a few pieces that will work in multiple trends, be your saviour items, and will work in any situation: an aviator, shearling lined jacket; a colourful shift dress; brown leather knee high boots; a grey/beige/white turtle neck top and a black or white sharp blazer.

How YOU Can Wear It.
Don't be scared! This season fashion is fun, flirty and has a definite 'don't care' attitude about it. From Karl Lagerfelds Chanel Shopping Market to Jeremy Scotts fast food fashion, this season anything goes as long as its chic. Whichever trend you choose to wear, do it well, even if you stick to one thing for the whole season, do it well. Invest in some key items and dig up your mums cupboard to find some real gems. Stick to clean lines and basic pieces if your nervous, but if your brave go all out and get some colour!! Look to Brigitte bardot, Twiggy and Audrey Hepburn for inspiration and have fun, thats what fashions for!!

I hope you found this post useful, be sure to give me a follow on instagram and give me a comment saying you came from my blog and i might just follow you back! Your support and views mean so much to me, i love this blog and i do so much research to give you guys the best ideas, reviews
and information. I'm only 8 views away from 2000, so keep viewing, press that +1 button!

Margate shopping haul!

Hi everyone, yesterday i was at my grandparents and they took me shopping to margate, which i have fallen in love with. Margate town is beautiful, and if your like me and you love vintage, its the place to be. Along King. St there are a large number of beautiful vintage shops, but unfortunately we went on a Monday when most things are closed in the area. We only really found one vintage shop that was open called Parapphanelia (i think!) the owner was so lovely and so helpful, i bought a beautiful red/blue check flannel shirt which he gave to me discounted at only £10!! Definitely worth a visit!
Then we went on to the Westwood shopping centre where there are so so may shops including topshop, river island, T K Maxx and primark. First off i went to super drug and purchased two cheap and cheerful items from MUA, a matte neutral palette and a pink rosy blush. Then i went to River Island and in the sale i found an adorable mickey mouse printed jumper, i loved it, and even though its very childish and silly i fell in love with it! Also in the sale i picked up two adorably cute midi rings which were so adorbs!! Then moving on to New Look, i don't normally shop in new look but i found the most beautiful scarf! Its a very large thick red classic tartan check print, and can be doubled up at a planket (see my blog post about plankets here) I love it, so warm and cosy! I then got my favourite film ever with my favourite person ever in… yes you guessed it Divergent on DVD. When i finnish writing this I'm gonna go get me some chocolate and watch it! I got it from HMV. The last thing i got was a really nice blue and white stripe print dress from primark. Its thick and cosy, perfect for autumn!

So thats it everyone, hope you enjoyed this haul, i am considering doing a youtube video on this, hmm not sure!

cheap and easy loom band choker!

Hey everyone, today I'm at my Nan's in the Kent area and while I've been here I brought some loom bands with me and decided to make some chokers! I started off with a pink and purple one, and then a black one. I've been wearing the black one all the time as it's simple and easy to wear. It also looks like chain link which is really cool. To make this put one band on one finger, twist around and put it on the finger next to it making a figure of eight, then put another band on normally next to them and pull the first band over each side of the one on top of it and repeat.
A really easy, wearable and cheap alternative to the ones you can buy in stores !

Get inspired! DIY Inspiration Book!

Hey guys, so today i decided to make myself a book full of inspiration, obviously it is not yet complete;y full but i made a start and i thought id give you some ideas on how you could give it a go!
So first of all i went to this super awesome shop called Tiger and got myself a medium square notebook. It has a kind of faux leather back and front. Then i went through some magazines and cut out some quotes and images and arranged them on the front cover. they could be whatever your interested in but i love fashion and beauty so thats what i chose. Then after sticking them all down i took some sticky back plastic and covered the front to leave a nice shiny finnish. Unfortunately i didn't do this all that well and ended up with some creases in the front, oopsie! Once you've decorated your book go ahead and start filling the pages with words, pictures, quotes, fabrics, materials, photographs, whatever makes you happy and gives you inspiration. Try to theme each page so you can flick to different pages for different inspiration. You can look on tumblr and see so many of these but i always think its nice to make your own!
Hope this gives you some inspiration!

Love you all, p.s my youtube should be going up in the next few days so keep your eyes peeled!!

I'm back in England! All about my holiday, Kos 2014!

Hey guys!! I'm so so so soooo sorry i haven't posted in so long but i promise regular uploads from now on! (see your even getting an extra post this week ;) ) So I'm back in England and i was greeted by the lovely lovely dull grey skies so typical in this country!! But, i did have an amazing holiday in Kos in Greece. So if any of you didn't know Kos is an Island in Greece which is actually really close to Turkey, you can see it from the beach! I stayed at the hotel called Blue Lagoon Resort, and it was so lovely. The pool there was amazing, it's the biggest on the whole island!

This only shows less than half off it but it was a beautiful pool and such a nice colour and shape. There was also an insight watermark which was so so much fun! The animation team their were so lovely and we spent a lot of our time participating in classes and chatting to Samantha, Emma, Katie, Lauren, Benji and Sebby, all dancers or singers who also performed in the evening shows. I spent a lot of time with Samantha especially, doing aqua gym with her every morning and she came and waved us off when we left. Definitely missing them all already!! The waiters and waitresses were lovely always supplying us with ample drinks, Camelia, Dirrini and Georgios were especially kind! The beach was so beautiful too, and we spent a lot of time messing around in the water, the waves were so choppy that they'd come right over your head and knock you right over! The sun beds on the beach were so so comfortable too, it was literally like a bed!

Kos itself is a beautiful island, its very lush with roses and lots of greenery, but also very mountainous too. Kos town is a lovely place, on one side of the gorgeous harbour (filled with luxury yaughts! ) You find an array of local and commercial shops selling everything from fake bags to olive oil soap! I must admit i had to get myself a fake Longchamp medium bag and a fake black Chanel purse, shh! On the other side of the island you will find the more historic side to the island, there is the castle and some old walls. However it is very sad to see so many stray cats :(

All together i had an amazing time and took lots of footage while i was there, and so i am going to try and edit it all together into a kind of Holiday Vlog on a youtube channel that i will be starting once i work out how to do channel art! Hope you enjoyed this post, talk to you tomorrow for another post, byeee x gk

Hi everyone, sorry for the late posts I'm still on holiday and I won't be back till Tuesday. After then I promise, regular posts!! Also I have exciting news that when I get home I will be starting my YouTube channel! I've taken lots of footage while I've been here and expect lots of vlogs when I get home!!
But onto this post! I have a little trick for you to keep your lipstick in place all day long! First of all moisturize your lips with a Chapstick or lip balm. Once this has soaked in take a matte face powder and powder your lips so they look rather nude, matte and dry. Then take your lip colour and apply one coat, blott, and then apply another. I promise long lasting lips all day!!

I'll try and get a couple more posts up before I get home then back to normal!

Airport fashion and beauty; tips for flying!

Hi everyone, this is tomorrows post as tomorrow i will be unable to upload as i am flying out to greece and spending the whole day travelling. So i thought i would share with you some outfit ideas for flying and some beauty tips too.
Firstly, dress comfortably. Wear something comfy but still chic, i will be wearing some black topshop leggings, a pink cropped sweat top from h&m that says peachy on the front and a lace vest top i made myself. I will also have my new vintage sunglasses ready to put on when i arrive. This is just a cute comfy outfit that i can stay warm or cool in. I will also be wearing a pair of white pumps from primark as they are cooler than converse but still protect my feet. I also highly recommend taking a pashmina in your hand luggage as it is small, lightweight but works really well as a blanket if you get cold.

Now onto beauty, in your hand luggage you can only take 100ml of products and you have to put them in a clear bag. I will be taking a miniature simple moisturiser as it is essential to moisturise your skin on the plan as airplane air is really dehydrating. Also a chapstick to keep my lips hydrated and a benefit dandelion lipgloss to put on before we land. I am also taking a hand cream, hand food by soap and glory, to smooth my hands. I don't recommend wearing makeup to fly in as it is heavy on your skin and doesn't allow it to breath, besides if your eyes are looking dull and tired stick some sunglasses on! Another tip is if your reading or doing something on the plane, tie your hair up out of the way as it can get very annoying!

I hope your enjoying the summer and having a good break, i will be away for two weeks, and so I'm going to upload as much as i can but sorry if posts are not as on schedule! I will also be trying to film some blogs and videos while I'm out there so look out for them when i get back!

Love you guys, byee x gk

Last day of school hair & makeup tips!

Hey everyone, tomorrow is my last day of school before summer!! I know that everyone wants to look good on the last day as its the last time your going to see your friends for a while and there are often a to of pictures taken. I really hope i don't have a black eye for tomorrow as today i got hit in the eye with a rounders ball :( Oh well, life goes on!
So first thing i do is prime my face ready for the day, this helps my makeup go on much smoother and makes sure it stays all day long! Then i apply my concealer to any blemishes and redness i may have. I blend this in with my fingers to keep it smooth against my skin. Then i take my BB cream or you could use foundation and apply a thin layer all over the skin making sure to blend out with a sponge to avoid harsh lines. I then apply a lighter concealer under my eyes to brighten my dark circles. I blend this out with the sponge too. Next i apply a setting powder to keep it all in place. Then i move on and lightly blush my cheeks, keep it natural but add a little bit of light. Then i move onto my eyebrows and put some gel in to keep the shape and fill them out. Next i move onto my eyelashes and give them a coat of mascara. Then i add a nude eyeshadow to my eyes for some shimmer and base. Then lastly i put a nude lipstick onto my lips and add a pinky/peachy gloss.

Then for my hair i have 3 options, which i haven't decided on yet:
Firstly you could curl your hair, make it nice and loose and beachy. This has a really relaxed summer feel. You could always clip a section of the front back with some bobby pins, or tie half up.
Secondly, you could straighten your hair and add  some tiny little plaits to add interest. Then take the top section of your hair and tie it into a little bun on top of your head. Then take a comb and back comb some sections, if you have a salt spray scrunch and spray to add texture to your locks.
Lastly you could always go for a classic french braid, but try weaving some ribbon into it and adding some flower clips for interest.
I think i will go with the second option as it is my favourite.

Make sure to apply lots of perfume as its very hot and you want to smell good if your giving people hugs!!
Hope you all have a good last day!!

Lots of love, bye x gk

3 easy DIY's to do this summer!

Hi everyone, today I've been thinking about summer and all the things i can do with my time! I came up with these easy 3 diy projects to get your teeth stuck into!
1- DIY Hanger decor; this is to spruce up your average hangers up in your wardrobe! Start with a spray paint or just a normal paint and paint plain normal wire hangers in a cute pastel colour. Don't be afraid to mix up the colours! Then take some coloured ribbon and tie it around the neck of the hanger. feel free to add gems or buttons.

2- DIY fade painting; You will need a small square canvas for this, you also need some similar colours of paint. Start with the darkest colour at the bottom and apply a line, then above it apply a darker colour and so on until you reach the top. Then take a sponge and blot over all the colours to make them all fade into each other and ake a lovely colourful image for your bedroom!

3- DIY Candle holders; i know its summer but candles are just so pretty! Get yourself some jam jars and put inside each one a small candle. Then take some patterned cloth and cover the lid with it, make sure you have some down each side! Then take a ribbon and tie this around the cloth to secure it in place and make sure the candle doesn't fall out!

So there are some bail DIY's to get you started this summer! Hope you enjoyed this, byee x gk

Outfit tip!

Hi guys, today I thought I'd share with you an outfit tip for you. So what really helps me is picking one statement piece such as printed trousers or a chunky necklace and styling around it by picking out colours from it. Hi guys, sorry this post didn't go up yesterday i was out all night but on wednesday MY CAMERA CAME! If you read my blog weekly you will know that I've been so so so excited about getting a camera to blog/vlog and take amazing photos on. I have the Canon Powershot SX170, and i got it half price which is great! I love how its not too small and thin but isn't too chunky either, its perfectly sized- and so so cute. This is my first professional camera and I'm so happy with it, i would recommend it to any first time camera buyers as its not too expensive yet amazing quality. Now I've got my camera I'm looking to start my youtube chanel, if anyone has any tips or advice for me it would be most appreciated as I'm by no means an expert at all!! I'm rather new at it all and really nervous!!

So id like to ask all you lovely lot to have a think about some videos you'd like to see and either dm me on instagram, or comment on one of my photos on insta, @grxce.k  You could also leave a comment on here for me, that'd be lovely!

Gracie's house, Latin and picture day makeup!

Hi everyonee. Right now I'm not on my mac, I'm on my friend Gracie's. I really want a mac book air so so bad so I'm super jealous of her! Tonight, I'm going to a latin evening to help out with her, so that should be fun! I'm taking latin as a gcse and its super duper fun and a great opportunity.

Yesterday, i was part of a presentation to give my friends parents some money in memory of him as he sadly passed away last year. We had a professional photographer in and so i wanted to look good in the photo's! And so here are my tips for getting flawless photo day makeup!
1- First of all, get your self a good quality primer and get some good foundation to get a perfect base. This will make your skin look perfect in the flash and close up.
2- Put on some eyeliner and mascara to define your eyes and make them stand out. This also makes them look bigger and it also makes them pop.
3- If your not allowed to wear a bright lip colour put on a glossy sheen to add interest to that feature, and to make your lips look bigger.
4- Always smooth hair with a hair oil to tame frizz and make your hair look smooth and sleek in the photo.

Thats it for today guys, i'll be getting posts up more frequently if i can over the summer, and starting my youtube so stay tuned daily for updates on that!

DIY Makeup storage!

Hi everyone, today the weather has been pretty miserable here in england so i thought i would do some organising and sort all my makeup out! (i really did not realise how much i had!) I decided to separate everything out into sperate containers, and so i thought id take you through how i did it!
In the first tray i put all my base makeup, so my primers and foundation/bb creams, i lined them all up neatly so you can see everything. Then in the next tray i put in all my concealers, powders and blushers. I put these two trays next to each other on my dressing table. Then i took a long tall container and lined up all my makeup brushes and my eyelash curlers. Then i got a tiny little pot and put my makeup sponges and tiny little eye shadow brushes in it. Next up i got a round deep pot and filled it with all my little eyeshadows. Then i got another tray container and lined up all my mascaras, eyeliners and brow products. Then i got another deep round pot and filled it with all my lipsticks, lip liners and two lip balms. They all fit really nicely in these pots and i lined up the last three tubs along with the next one in a row. And the final one is a big tray of lip glosses. These trays/pots all fit really nice and snug on my dressing table and its so much easier now to be able to see all my makeup and access it easily. You could decorate these pots if you wanted to with stickers or ribbon, but i like to keep mine clear so i can see everything. Check out how it looked when i finished down below!

I hope you guys liked this post and found it useful, have a good week wherever you are in the world!

Camera's, Summer 2014, and vintage shopping!

Hey everyone, sorry this post didn't go up last night  but i felt i needed to work on it some more and make it a bit longer as a lot of my recent posts have been very short. So sorry guys!

First of all id like to talk about cameras, I've been looking for my first blogging/vlogging/professional camera for a while now and i just can't find the perfect one in my price range. I really want one of this good old big chunky Canon ones because i just love to be able to handle a big camera, and the lenses are amazing, but i mean they're like £400!!! I'm a high-school girl i mean i have a budget! So i'd really like you guys to let me know which are your favourites at around £100-ishh, i just want some camera love! Anddddd then i can start my youtube channel which i am hopefully going to set up over the summer, exciting!!

Next up, i would just like to stress how amazingly excited i am for this summer, I've worked so hard this year and i'm starting my gcse's next year so I've been getting in all my knowledge! I've also been trying to figure out some idea of what i want to do when I'm older, i've got a place on the CAT (centre for advanced training) scheme at the jerwood dance house starting in september which leads you on to a career in dance, so I'm super confused in what i want to be, as if you've read my blog for a whioe you'll know i LOVE fashion, and i really thought i knew what i wanted to do. so yeah, confusing.

Lastly, i would like to share with you my love for shopping for vintage clothes and charity shops. Theres nothing worse than a snobby person who won't go into a charity shop because they don't think its cool. I' sorry but I've found some amazing designer pieces in charity and vintage stores and its amazing because you know that nobody has anything like it! Whats not to love! One of kind outfits that are very very cheap and you have such a lot to choose from. The joy i get when i find something amazing is just the best feeling!! So here are my tips for successful second-hand shopping: Wear basic pieces that you know you can make outfits out of like white vests, leggings, jeans and thin jumpers and shorts; Don't carry a big handbag, a small cross-body bag is the best as when your carrying piles of clothes and sifting through endless rails your arms are gonna get tired and you want minimal weight already on your arms. But most of enjoy it, have a laugh, try some crazy stuff on and don't take it too seriously!

I hope you enjoyed this longer post, love you all byee x gk

Looking good at the gym!

Hi all, the summers here! You may be looking to tone those abs and legs ready for bikini season so that (for most of you) probably means hitting the gym. I completely understand that you don't want to look completely awful when your working out, so here are my top tips for still looking amazing when your hot and sweaty! So start off by the outfit you choose, you want something light, tight fitting and cool. There is a massive range of sports ware out there but for summer i suggest wearing a pair of tight fitting shorts, a sports bra and a tank top. Invest in some good quality trainers as well as it can really help your performance. You don't have to just stick with boring old black and white thug, there are some beautiful designs and patterns out there in lovely fabrics. Try Nike, Victorias Secret Pink, Forever 21 and Adidas. For trainers Asics or Nike are the best. Tip number two is the makeup, you don't want to wear a lot of makeup when you go to the gym, preferably not any, as when you sweat it clogs up your pores and can smear and rub off. But if you but wear some makeup stick to thin lightweight layers, also always prime your skin as it makes sure your makeup doesn't budge. Avoid eye makeup but always wear lip balm as your lips can get very dry. Lastly, always keep for hair up, either in a high ponytail, french braids of a bun, but make sure your hair is away from your face and secure in place as you do t want it falling out and looking a mess! I hope this helped, i"ll leave some inspirational gym images below to give you that motivation to get up and work out! Hope you found this helpful, love you all!

This week's beauty favourites!

Hi everyone, today i was looking through my makeup bag and realised i haven't done a favourites post for you guys yet! So here are the products I've been loving at the moment! First of all is my face favourites (oo alliteration) first of all my happy light illuminating serum by bourgeois which is a primer, i really like this one as its not very expensive and really makes your skin glow! Apply it with your finger tips and pat it into your skin for a gorgeous glow and it really helps keep your makeup on your face. The other face product is the Illuminating touch brightening concealer by collection, this comes in a pen with a little brush end and you twist the product to squeeze it into the little brush. You can apply it like a big colouring pencil and its a really nice consistency, the colours great and i have purchased this multiple times now. Moving onto eyes, i just have one product for you which i use every day, this is the maybelline 'the mega plush volume express' mascara and i love it! I got this a while back and recently I've been using it every day, it makes my lashes look so thick and long and i just love the brush! Onto my eyebrows, this is a long time favourite of mine and i have actually done a review of this product, its the sleek brow kit, and i have the colour light. This is a little box with a powder and a gel in it with an angled brush for the gel, a round brush for the powder and some tweezers for neatening stuff up. This is my favourite bro product as it does everything and its such a good colour! Finally onto lips i have two products, firstly the Maybelline colour sensational lipstick in the colour electric orange, this is a vibrant orange tone which suits my skin tone lovely, it gives any outfit a pop of colour and is right on trend for summer. And my last favourite of the week is my Rimmel Lasting finish colour rush chubby stick lipstick in 500 The Redder The Better. This is a really glossy red, perfect for summer. Its really moisturising and easily build able whether you want a subtle red tone or full on red. This is my favourite red lip product, i love it!!
So thats it for today guys, please follow and check out my instagram @grxce.k !!!
And also please tell your friends, your class mates, your siblings, anyone about my blog, i really love blogging and i hope you enjoy my blog, so plea help me reach 2000 views, and then i will start my youtube channel!
Thank you all, ilyyy, bye x gk

The do-it-all makeup product you already have!

Hi guys! Today i thought i'd do a little post about the one product that does everything, and probably more than you think. Its Vaseline! And i know you probably think boringggg, but it can really help you out! There are many different ways to use it; you can apply it to chapped lips and over night your lips will be silky smooth, apply it after shaving and it smoothes down your skin, apply it to your eye lids and lashes to help your lashes stay healthy strong and long, apply it to eyebrows to help them hold shape, grow quicker and stay soft and you can also apply it to any areas of dry skin and it works like an amazing moisturiser. Seriously it costs like £2 and it does absolutely everything, so go find your vaseline out the cupboard and get using it!

Bye everyone, sorry that todays post was quite short but I'm about to go and play netball, again!

Love you my favourite people, byee x gk

The key pieces you NEED in your wardrobe!

Hi everyone! Today i thought id do a little wardrobe post, and here are the things that i think you need in your wardrobe (just my opinion, have whatever you like in your wardrobe!)
1-A classic pair of blue medium-ish skinny jeans. Find a pair that fit you perfectly and are really comfy.
2-A White or black very top. Preferably a loose-ish one perhaps chiffon. Something plain and comfy that can go with any outfit.
3- A blazer. A muted tone is best, its the perfect piece to smarten up basic pieces.
4-That dress. The dress that can be transformed from day to night. Effortlessly chic, something that makes you feel good!
5-The ankle boots. Grey or brown. Maybe a little heel and some detailing. Casual, comfy and oh so wearable.
6-The on the shoulder leather bag. The kind of this you can get everything you need in, but not massive. Leather is best as its very long lasting, black grey or tan go with everything.

And thats it! If you have these pieces in your wardrobe, you can't go wrong!

Help me get to 2000 views!  If i do i'll start a youtube chanel!!

Lots of love my beautiful viewers! byee x gk

Beach-side styling!

Hi everyone, sorry this post didn't go up yesterday, i was just took tired!
Here are my beach styling tips, for when your going to the pool or beach and want to look good with minimal effort!
1- Make sure your bikini makes a statement, something graphic, colourful, adorned, embellished, anything to make you stand out!
2- Put your hair up. Either a messy bun, high ponytail or messy braid work best. They look cute and casual and take seconds!
3- Apply your sun tan lotion, and if you need a little  ore coverage apply a bb cream with an spy in it to your problem areas only. (make sure its waterproof!) If you really feel you need something on your eyes, out a colourful waterproof liner on and a tiny bit of mascara.
4-Get a cute beach bag. I've just purchased a vintage rucksack from topshop which some of you may know about from my instagram, and its the perfect bag to just stick all your stuff in and hit the pool, its a really cute unique bag and it makes a bit of a statement and brings the look together.
5-Lastly, make sure you have a nice manicure and pedicure, with bright colours and patterns to make you stand out from the crowd and pull everything together!

Hope you enjoyed this post! Be sure to like and follow!

Top tips for savvy shopping!

Hi everyone! I'm currently wiring this post from the comfort of my bed as I am absolutely shattered! Today I'm gonna give you guys my best tips for savvy shopping. I'm no personal stylist, these are just the things that help me and what I follow!
So first of all, it's all about the fit of the item, don't buy things that don't quite fit, and that you haven't tried on. Trust me it's worth the que!
Seccond of all, make sure you know how you could style the item before you buy it, and you also need to know what other items go with it. Other wise your never gonna wear it!
Thirdly, don't but things that you already have very similar things like, there's no point and your wasting your money!
Next up, I like to make a list of things I need before I go shopping so that I know what I NEED to get!
I also do my online research before I go out shopping, as you can often get things cheaper in other places, and I don't like missing out!
Lastly, if your on a budget, save your money. It's better to save for a long time and then know exactly what you want to buy, than keep going out with little money and buying things that you don't really need.

That's all for today guys, follow my Instagram @grxce.k for my life in pictures!

I'm thinking of making a YouTube Chanel, what do you think?

Clean and Clear, and other skincare things Review!

HI everyone! I recently this week just got some new skin care things to refresh my skin care routine as a lot of my products had just run out and i thought it was time for a change!
I got myself a load of clean and clear things first, i got the Morning Refresh face scrub which has a lemony scent and is in a bright below colour. It really brightens you skin and cleans your pores. I also got the 3 in 1 oil free exfoliator, i use this in the evenings and it lathers nicely on the face and gives a really deep clean. Also i got the cleanser which is a thinner liquid form, its really good and you can feel it working on your skin, i use it after the exfoliator in the evenings. I also got the 3 in 1 skin treatment in the little silver tube. Its a really hard hitting thick gel that targets spots in 4 hours and i love it.
For my body i just got a Coconut & Cream body exfoliating shower gel, this smells delishhh and is so good for your skin. Last of all i have the Nivea gentle face cleansing wipes, i use these to take off my make up when i get home, especially eye make up.

I hope you enjoy these products as much as me if you have/are getting these!

Summer School Hair Styles!

Hi everyone, todays post is just a few different ideas for summer school hairstyles. In the summer you don't want to be putting a lot of heat on your hair and it needs to keep you cool! For most of you, well in the UK anyway, tomorrow will be the start of the last term of this school year, so enjoy yourself and make it count!

1- First of all is the easiest, a good old blow-dry. Wash your hair with whatever shampoo and conditioner you use, towel dry and add some hair oil (i use Loreal Paris extraordinary oil) then section off your hair into two parts, top and bottom. Starting with bottom section (the top half clipped on the top of your head) Blow dry with the nozel facing downwards to give a smooth straight finnish. then once this section is dry, let down the top section of hair and do the same all round the back and sides. When you get to the front section on both sides, turn the nozel sideways and blow the hair away from your face so it dowsnt flop down in your eyes!

2- Next is the messy bun, this is a really handy hairstyle for summer as its quick, keeps your hair off your face, and can never get ruined! Start off by securing all your hair in a high ponytail on the top of your head (don't worry if bits stick up or it goes bumpy.) Next tease your hair backwards to give more volume to your ponytail, then wrap your hair messily around the base of the ponytail and secure with another band. Take some bobby pins and pin down and little bits and shape the bun to how you like it!

3-Number 3 is one of the prettiest, the french braid. You can either do one or two, equally look so pretty! Start at the roots and french plait all the way down to the tips. Secure with clear elastics and add a ribbon if you wish.

4-Next is the natural beachy waves. Before you go to bed, wash your hair and towel dry so its damp. put your hair into two/three french braids (each side and back) and go to sleep. In the morning add some texturising spray and let them out. Use a comb to gently break them apart and add hairspray to give more hold.

5- Lastly is the sporty ponytail, very quick and easy. Take the front section of hair and twist it back into a quiff, pin it in place with a bobby pin. Then scrape up the rest of your hair and put it up into a high ponytail, brush the hair out and add some hair oil for shine. Add a cute ribbon around the base for a sporty summer look!

I hope you enjoyed this post, have a good last term!
