Life Update and where to shop for summer!

Hey everyone! I'm so so so sorry i haven't posted all week, I've been so busy, as most of you know its half term this week. I've had my netball trials and my stage one audition for Dance East and things are going really well in my life right now. I'm through to stage two in both! However, i have also done a lot of shopping, and I'm gonna give you the low down on where to shop for summer!

River Island is definitely my first stop when i go shopping now, I'm in love with their summer collection. I never really shopped in river island before now, but I'm obsessed. I recently picked up a tribal peacock printed crop top (in the style of my last post) a white off the shoulder Bardot styled top, and a pair of medium wash denim shorts. I'm in loveeee.

The majority of the stuff i've bought recently has actually been from H&M. The clothes in here are beautiful, have a great fit, and at a very reasonable price. I'm really impressed with there clothes this season, their all so on trend and beautiful! Just a few of the things i got were a midi plain grey dress, a turquoise high neck top, a gingham body con skirt and a cropped white zip-up hoody. They're also amazing for basics, really soft comfy fabrics in neutral tones.

If you've never been to the topshop on Oxford Street, your life is not complete. They have a bubbleology and a frozen yogurt shop inside the store, the vintage collection is amazing, they have loads of other brands such as Jaded London and Fusey on the bottom floor. AND the AshishXTopshop collection which is super awesome. They also still stock the KateXTopshop collection which is stunning. You could spend days in there and still not see everything!

New top that you need in your life!

Hi everyone, today i thought id share with you guys my new obsession, the high neck stroppy crop top. These things are everywhere, I've been watching youtube videos this evening and in a bout 4 of the hauls they all had at least on of these tops. They look so chic and put together and there perfect for the summer because it still allows all of your back and arms to tan and also your belly. The one that i'll be snapping up is the plain grey one from Miss Selfridge that i will put a picture of down below. I love it and its definite;y my next buy. I just think their so cute, and you can get some lovely colours and prints. Let me know if you are already ahead of the trend!

Lee Stafford Hair Growth Shampoo&Conditioner Review

Hi guysss, the weather in england today has been beautiful! Ive enjoyed the day out in the sun with family and friends, let me know how you enjoyed your day in the sun in the comments below!
Todays post is a review of the Lee Stafford Hair Growth Shampoo and Conditioner, these are the shampoo and conditioners that I've been using for the last month or so, and I'm in love with it. My hair always feels so clean and nourished after I've used it and it smells delishhhhh. My hair is about medium length (bra strap length when straightened) but I've really noticed that it is starting to grow a little by little, the products really are working! I would really recommend it to girls trying to grow their hair longer, as I'm lusting over super long luscious locks, this product is making me wait, but keeping my hair clean, strong and nourished. I really do love it. Its a little pricey for a high-street shampoo and conditioner at i think just over £7 a bottle, but its worth it, and I'm definitely going to be sticking with it.

Top 5 girly films you have to see!

Hi everyone, todays post is all about my top 5 girly films that you just have got to see!
First up is The Last Song, this has to be the saddest, cutest film of all time, starring Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth its a definite must see, I've cried every time I've watched!
Seccond is Love Actually, classic film, never outdated, one of my all time favourites, i just love this movie, it shows love in every shape and form.
Third is LOL, another Miley Cyrus film, girls, you gotta see this, perfect for sleepovers.
Fourth up is Divergent, i went to see this film as soon as it came out and it was AMAZING, i went back and saw it again it was that good, plus Four (Theo James) is absolutely gorgeoussss<3
And finally, is a film i have not seen yet, nor have any of you since it isn't out yet, but on the 6th of June, The Fault In Our Stars comes out, and I'm going to see this as soon as i possibly can, I've read the book, and i cried so much, girls if you love a romance, GO AND SEE IT!!

My Skincare Routine; Summer 2014

Hi everyone, sorry i forgot to post this on Tuesday, I've been so busy recently with my school work and netball trials, but here it is! This is my Summer skincare routine! 

First of all i like to cleanse and clean my face using a Freederm wipe, then when I'm in the bath/shower i use my St Ives Apricot exfoliator. This helps to keep my skin smooth and refreshed. Then i moisturise my face using the Body Shop Coconut body milk, such an amazing product! Don't use too much of this, just enough to sink into the skin and keep it moisturised and smooth. Then i take my Clearasil Rapid Action treatment cream and put this over any spots or redness i may have, this stuff is a miracle worker, I've used it for years! Then i'll just take some coco butter vaseline and cover my eyelashes from root to tip to keep them long and healthy, and of course apply some cherry chapstick.

This is just what i like to do and what i like to use, it may not work for everyone but it seems to work for me!

Easy, yummy snack: Banana nutella sandwiches!

Hi everyone, sorry this post didn't go up last night but i was at a netball competition and had some school work to do so here it is now! So i know, well if your like me, when you get in from school you want a snack, something yummy but not too unhealthy, and here is my little sweet treat when i get in if I'm feeling hungry!
Take a banana and slice it into thinnish circles. Take a piece and spread on a small dot of nutella on the slice, then take another piece of banana and put it on top, making a little sandwich. Just keep making them until the whole banana is gone! There so yummy and not that unhealthy either. You can always use peanut butter instead but personally i don't like it so i use Nutella instead!

Met Ball 2014: Best dressed!

Hi everyone, as most of you know last night was the 2014 Met ball, and there were some amazing outfits, so i thought id share with you all my favourite looks!



First up is Emma Stone, i love this pink on pink outfit, she looks incredible! And her side braid and natural makeup is flawless too.

Next is Georgia May Jagger, she always looks stunning and this black cut out low neck dress is so elegant and sexy, she can really pull it off!

Then we move onto Cara Delevingne, my absolute queen. She has such an amazing body she could wear anything and still look fab butr these white trousers really eventuate her legs and the black cut out crop top shows off her tones stomach and adds some punch to the outfit.























Last up is Kate Bosworth who looked gorgeous in this simple plain pink gown accessorised with gold jewellery. I love this look and kate has the perfect figure to pull it off. She is effortlessly stunning and ever so elegant, absolutely beautiful!












I think theres definitely a pink trend here, and who knows it may be the next big trend, that what i predict!! Hope you enjoyed this post, bye everyone! x gk

Wish List; next buys (fashion and beauty)

Hi everyone, its sundaayyy!
Well i have a non-pupil day at my school tomorrow and so i think I'm gonna go shopping! I thought id let you know whats on my wish list of things to get! First of all, every time i go into topshop i feel myself drawn in to the shoes, i think i have a shoe obsession right now, anyway i have decided my absolute favourites are the black crocodile kinda texture patent skate shoes, THEY ARE PERFECT! Next up, also from topshop, is the tortoiseshell brown/black cat-eye sunglasses, these are so gorgeous, and look just like Alexa Chung's for a fraction of the price. While we're on sunglasses, i have also spotted an absolute steal-buy that i just need in my life, the h&m round sunglasses, they're brown with metal on and their gorgeeeeeeous! The last fashion buy I'm after is a pair of good old jeans, now i don't know where I'm gonna get these from but I'm desperate for a good old pair of comfy denim jeans. Oh and i also really want the h&m white jeggings, there so comfy, i mean seriously, go try 'em on. Moving onto beauty, i really want the Real Techniques expert face brush, I've seen so many you tubers rave about this and i just need to try it out! I also needed the Bourjois happy light luminous primer, it smells amazing, looks amazing, feels amazing, and its PINK, whats not to love!! I'm also on the look out for a bronzer and a big powder brush, not too sure which ones yet though. And last of all, I'm looking for a new red and bright pink lipstick, i think i'lll probably go for the Kate x Rimmel ones because they pply really nicely.

My favourite Beauty and Fashion youtubers!

Hi everyone, today i thought id do a post all about my favourite you tubers, the people that inspire me, and the videos i like to watch!
